Your private guide will pick you up at your Munich hotel. Then we drive south-east along the Bavarian Alps, first to the Eagle’s Nest on “Kehlstein” mountain,
First, we board a specially equipped mountain bus for a breathtaking ride up the 4-mile road. With a 27% incline to a rocky plateau, from where you will walk into a 406 foot (124 meters) long tunnel leading you directly to the original WWII brass elevator. That will transport you up through the heart of the Kehlstein mountain for another 406ft straight into the Eagle’s Nest itself.
Later, after getting back to our private vehicle, we will visit the town’s 500-year-old Berchtesgaden’s Salt Mine.
Dress up like a miner and take a slide into the disco-lit depths of this ancient, still functional salt mine. After the tour in Salt Mine, we drive back to your hotel.

Tour Reviews
Eagles Nest and salt mine tour
We had a very enjoyable time with our guide, Franz. He was personable and knowledgeable. He gave very good insights and took us in a comfortable vehicle from our Salzburg hotel to the country. The views were amazing, and I learned a lot in the salt mine. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
