We drive to Hohenschwangau village. First, we take the shuttle to Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke) for some amazing pictures. Please note that (Due to extensive renovation work, the Marienbrücke is closed until further notice). Then we walk to Neuschwanstein (the fairy tale castle) with a tour inside. You will know more about the Swan King (Ludwig II) king of Bavaria (1864-1886). And the history of Neuschwanstein Castle (was built 1869-1886). Afterward, from the castle’s foot, we take a horse carriage to Hohenschwangau village.

Later, we drive to the picturesque village of Oberammergau, where is the original Passion Play started in the 1634 period. This little historic village is famous for wood carving and for many House paintings and more. Free time to grab some lunch and shopping.

Our next stop

Linderhof Palace, where Ludwig II lived for more than 8 years, with time to explore the formal gardens, Moorish Kiosk, and the famous Venus Grotto (at the moment the Grotto is closed for maintenance works until 2022).  Afterward, we drive back to your hotel.

Booking our tour through Amir was easy and smooth. David our guide was FANTASTIC! We appreciated the education that he provided and truly valued our friendly conversations throughout the day. Seeing and touring the castles were enjoyable, but David made this a great EXPERIENCE.

On this website, Amir Saad states the following, “Come as a tourist and leave as a friend.”

This statement is true. We now have new friends.
